Essential Holiday Health and Beauty Tips

Exfoliate your skin – Applying sun cream can cause your pores to become clogged up, leaving skin looking dull and dry. Exfoliating your skin every 2-3 days will remove dead skin cells and leave your skin looking and feeling soft and smooth. Use an exfoliating glove or mitt, and a shower cream that contains exfoliation beads to get the best results. Remember to moisturise afterwards.

Eat healthy – Maintain a healthy, balanced diet on holiday. Fresh fruit and salads are perfect for the daytime as they are nice, light and won’t leave you feeling bloated. Being next to the sea usually means that fresh fish will be served in restaurants. Fish is a great source of omega-3 and tastes delicious too!

Keep lips looking luscious – Lips can tend to dry out and crack in the sun. Don’t forget to keep them moisturised. For kissable lips, I would recommend Garnier Ambre Solaire’s lip protection stick with SPF 20. It keeps your lips looking nice and luscious, protecting them from harmful UV rays at the same time. And at around £3 a stick, how can you say no!

Don’t forget to exercise – All that sunbathing and dining out can take its toll on your body. Believe it or not, it is possible to have fun exercising on holiday. Activities such as playing volleyball on the beach, or swimming in the pool are excellent ways to stay in shape.
