The Avengers
As if Robert Downey Jr. wasn’t enough as Iron Man, we also get Chris Hemsworth as Thor and they appear in a film together with a range of other superheroes such as, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Chris Evans as Captain America. This film sees the first of its kind: a group of superheroes coming together to save the world with a whole range of superpowers. It is a recipe for epic action and that is exactly what the audience got: from the get go the film plunges into its storyline to stop Thor’s brother, Loki from destroying the world. It’s a long film but not the best superhero film out there and now with The Dark Knight Rises coming out, it won’t be a favourite for a long.
