Mens Fashion Summer 2013

It may seem too soon to be thinking about what fashion you are going to be wearing next year, but the fashion world never stops. It’s mens fashion that seems to be the most innovative and highly talked about, shows from Richard Nicoll and Hardy Amies earlier this year gave the male fashion empire something fresh and new for Summer 2013.

Here’s a short list of what you guys will be wearing come summer time.

Feeling Blue – It’s colours we see every year on the catwalk, it’s blue and yellow that will be the base for any guys wardrobe, keep these two colours electric and vibrant to be bang on trend.

Stop that short short – Shorts have finally got some extra length, say good riddance to the super short and hello to those welcome extra couple of inches. Keep the shorts well tailored and colourful and you’re on to a winner.

La-di-da – Think Gatsby, Downtown Abbey etc if you’re off for a night out to dinner, double breasted jackets and brogues were on the agenda for many designers including Hackett of London.

Retro Glitz – From the Great Gatsby to the beach, designers such as Katie Eary showcased a furor of colour and print in her show. Keep the look vibrant and cool with the hair messy or scraped right back to pull off the whole look.

Feminine side – Burberry took the catwalk with a new kind of its famous trench coat, pink (yes pink) PVC raincoats were all the rage. It wasn’t just the coats though, it seems men will even being adding this vibrant, foiled colour to their shirts as well.

Pop Art – The Moshino show could have been mistaken for a supermarket aisle, with Warhol-like printed t shirts and trousers it will take the most confident of men to pull off this look.

Get ready to show off some great fashion next summer and be ready to stand out from the crowd.
