Disneyland: A 21-year-olds Playground

The Castle, the characters, the rides, all that was missing was me dressed as a princess! We visited both parks, the Disney Park itself and Walt Disney Studios. The main park contains the idealistic picture perfect Sleeping Beauty Castle and seemed the more popular of the two due to the large amount of visitors. The Studios were more for the thrill seekers with such rides as The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith. Both a definite must do, if not only to get a ridiculous photo like we did, with a young girl next to us looking like she’s having the time of her like, and us literally crapping our panties!

As we made our way around the parks, it was clear that we were tourists, British ones at that as we giggled and ran from ride to ride. We met Mickey and Pluto, braved every ride, indulged in crepe after crepe and made it through ‘It’s a small world’ without killing ourselves! I may have only been the once but it proved that you’re never too old to enjoy Disneyland, there is a child in everyone and who has the heart to deny that child what they want?

The two days flew by and we had an amazing time, Disneyland Florida is definitely next on our list! We were sad to leave but having touched up our French a bit, we had Paris in our sights…
