Spring Breakers by Harmony Korine; the movie set to take over the summer thanks to an impressive cast of teenage idols: Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Korine, and James Franco.

With all the actresses starring on teenage TV shows – it is clear who the movie is aimed at, parents be warned.

The story is simple enough; four college girls decide to rob a fast food joint in order to get money they need for their spring break trip to Florida. Once there, they get arrested for drugs and in jail they meet a local drug and arms dealer, Alien, who takes them under his wing – movie craziness results.

The movie will be released in the United States on March 22nd. The cast have just ended a Europe tour in Rome for its launch after being in Paris, Berlin and Madrid.

Well received in Europe with several 4 star reviews and teenage fans tweeting in the masses, resulting in the movie trending – big news for Hollywood bigwigs. The Huffington Post describes the movie as: “Cinematic brilliance. It’s Scarface meets Britney Spears. Pulp Fiction will have to lose its WTF title to Harmony Korine’s disturbing and stupefying Spring Breakers.”

Time will tell if Spring Breakers will live up to the hype – a masterpiece showing the dark side of modern youth, or at the least, Fathers and teenage boyfriends have an excuse to take their teenage counterparts to a movie filled with four beauties in bikinis, life could be worse.
