Burgers, a love poem

Burgers

I don’t know who you are anymore,
You’ve caused me nothing but grief,
I went to meet at the local store,
You told me you were 100% beef,

I couldn’t believe my ears,
When they told me you were a phoney,
I tried my best to hold off my tears,
But come on, you used to be a pony

So that’s it between me and you,
You left me without a paddle,
I’ll just have to find something new to chew,
Something that didn’t wear a saddle

So it’s over between us now,
You, I will now always pass,
I loved you when I thought you were cow,
But all along I was eating ass.
