We have been waiting for nine long months but finally the big day has come. What are we talking about? The birth of the Royal baby, of course!

Prince William and Princess Kate’s son was born on July 23rd at 4.24 pm at St. Mary’s Hospital, even if the official announcement was been given almost four hours later. The little prince, named George Alexander Louis, was supposed to come into this world on July 13th, but apparently he decided to take his time.

Mommy and Daddy couldn’t be happier and they’re not the only ones celebrating the arrival of the little George; during the hours preceding the happy event, tons of people have arrived outside the hospital waiting for the birth and when the news arrived, London’s streets were filled with people opening bottles of Champaign to welcome the newborn.

After the Royal wedding, this has been another example of the strong feelings of attachment the nation has towards the members of the Royal family.

Celebrations are not over yet, everyone is already thinking about the Christening and it seems that Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton have been chosen as Godfather and Godmother. We’ll hear more about little prince George very soon, for sure!
