Jewellery and clothing has gone a bit namesake crazy recently, hasn’t it? And by this I mean that it’s reached the stage where it’s almost impossible to go into a high-street store or browse online without finding an item with a giant initial blazoned across it or a celeb wearing a necklace that states either their name or initials. Personally I’m more a fan of the jewellery rather than clothing so we’ll focus on that.

The name necklace rose to popularity during those Sex And The City years when Ms Carrie Bradshaw gallivanted all over New York wearing a faux-gold ‘Carrie’ necklace. Of course everyone had to have one, it was cool. Then it fell off the radar a bit before its comeback in the last year.  More recently, name necklaces and charms of personal initials have been spotted on everyone from Adele to Hilary Duff to Cara Delevingne.
