Oh La La Paris…

Moulin Rouge:

You’ve all seen the musical and heard the rumors, the Moulin Rouge was built in 1889 by Joseph Oller. Best known for the production of the modern from of can-can dance – famously the seduction dance of the courtesans who operated from the site. Also of course well known for it’s feature in the hit musical Moulin Rouge. You can go even today, book a table, have dinner, have a drink and enjoy the show… You can even buy souvenirs there such as bags, hand fans and jewellery that features in the shows!

Disneyland Paris:

This year it’s currently celebrating it 20th anniversary after opening on the 12th April 1992. It lies only 20 miles from Paris city centre and no matter how old you are, it is always worth it, although the tickets can be rather pricey at £51 for a 1 day park hopper ticket… But the experience more than makes up for it! Though it was originally called Euro Disney, it has had three different name changes after this being :Euro Disneyland Paris,Disneyland Paris and the current one as of 2002 Disneyland Park. In 2008 it received more visitors than the Louvre and The Eiffel Tower put together and was the most successful European attraction that year. I recommend Space Mountain 2 and if you go just notice all of the little quirks and authentic looking details around the park especially Main Street USA. It just really is one of the happiest places on earth!

If you do go to Paris don’t forget to go up Champs Elysees for the likes of Louis Vuitton and Cartier also to see the famous white ‘M’ on the McDonald’s there… There is just so much to see in Paris and everywhere in France. It’s a beautiful city with beautiful buildings and sites. I advise to simply go out and get lost there. But do remember to bring a brolly as it does have the weather symptoms of Britain but with the beauty of Europe!

I recommend of staying over stay outside the city if you have a car or the transport worked out as it is more affordable. But if your a couple or wanting a great night out do stretch to stay in the city an visit the likes of the Hard Rock Cafe. They do have the best cocktails!
