Rome is the one of the most visited destinations in Italy owing to its many attractions. The city of Rome is alive and vivacious with its glorious past. When to go

Typically, Rome has a Mediterranean climate. June through September are summer months when temperatures are as high as 37 degrees Celsius. If you are travelling in July and August, be prepared for high humidity. Temperatures dip to 10 degrees Celsius during the winter months. The best time to visit Rome is September through October or the autumn months.

 

Where to go

The Colosseum is a wonderful architectural piece and was constructed over 2000 years ago and is one of the most visited places in Rome. This amphitheatre attracts numerous tourists and is definitely a sight to see.

Taxi Information

Taxi fares in Rome to and from both the airports are regulated. It would cost € 30 from Ciampino Airport including luggage and € 40 from Fiumicino Airport. Taxi charges begin not from the time it arrives, but from the time it is dispatched.
