On Wednesday night Los Angeles had prepared itself for one of the first red carpet events of the year, the People’s Choice Awards. On the guest list were some of the most elite celebrities from the film, television and music industry. With a variety of celebrities collaborating with countless designers, who were the few that came out on top?
Naomi simply oozed glamour and elegance on the red carpet, dressed in Alexander McQueen. Her dress featured a floor-length black skirt and backless gold top embellished in sequins along with a multi-coloured gem encrusted collar. The 44-year old actress wore simple jewellery by Jennifer Meyer consisting of delicate gold earrings and bracelets on both wrists. To complete her look, Naomi had minimal make up to emphasise her features in addition to a Jimmy Choo bag and shoes.
Dressed in a plunging white dress designed by Ralph Lauren, it’s safe to say Taylor has never dressed this mature and sexy. Despite the dress being somewhat on the simplistic side, I must admit that Taylor managed to look sophisticated and stylish. With her hair in a sweeping up-do, she appeared to be more grown up than her usual long curls. Taylor finished her outfit with dangling turquoise earrings, eyeliner and bronze coloured eye shadow. Not to mention, a forced smile was sometimes seen, something that is probably to do with her recent split from Harry Styles.
The German supermodel was dressed in a Julien McDonald dress which featured cut out panels that enabled her toned physique to be put on display. Heidi teamed the dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and Christian Louboutin shoes and clutch. Heidi styled her hair in a slick pony tail, completing her look.
Wearing an Ellie Saab fuchsia mini-dress, Lea pulls of a confident look. The dressed featured pink lace in addition to pink sequins, very girly indeed! She wore the dress with a pair of strappy pink heels, most likely to help show off her incredibly toned legs. The brunette Glee actress finished her ensemble with a stylish braided up-do, something which helped expose her enviable tan that she got in Hawaii. Don’t we all wish we were tanned right now?
The blonde decided to tackle the trend of galaxy patterns by wearing a Tony Ward couture frock and Guiseppe Zanotti heels. The 24 year old dazzled in her out-of-this-world dress which she wore with similarly space themed silver heels. Julianne’s short crop was styled like a wave which moved around with her as she twirled in her short dress. The dress was simply beautiful as it sparkled in shades of blue. Julianne was filled with class and elegance, a stunner for sure!
