Queens Of The Stone Age – “…Like Clockwork”
These rock giants have the lava boiling in the volcano of fan anticipation. Set to launch their 6th studio album on June 4th, Queens of the Stone Age have just released their new song ‘I Appear Missing’ with the potential to be one of this year’s most memorable rock songs. This album is the band’s first full-length collection of all new material since 2007, is packed with experimental material, covered in vampiric artwork and even includes a guest appearance by Elton John… oh yes Sir!
Pet Shop Boys – “Electric”
The most successful duo in the history of UK music are releasing their 12th studio album ‘Electric’ on July 15th. The album best described by the artists themselves as “…very much set on the dancefloor. Our latest album often evolves as a response to our previous album and, whereas ‘Elysium’ had a reflective mood, ‘Electric’ is pretty banging!”. The album features 8 new Pet Shop Boys songs, plus a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s anti-war track “Last to Die”.

Are you a Glee fan? Waiting to hear more from the lovely Rachel? Well it seems you won’t have to wait much longer as this singer/actress has been in the recording studio and working hard on her debut album. Lea Michele has a long history on Broadway, however, Lea says she wants to keep her musical venture more in the bubble-gum pop variety. With this debut album expected to be released later this year, fans eagerly wait to hear what dynamics of Lea Michele this new material will uncover.
Daft Punk – “Random Access Memories”
The wait is over! The new mysterious Daft Punk album is scheduled to be released on May 21st. This album, which has been made in near-total secrecy, is one of 2013’s eagerly anticipated and set to be one of the biggest releases of this year. The French duo are cleverly making a bold and talented effort to make everything old new again and are set to create a shift in electronic dance music which the duo has declared to be having “an identity crisis”. ‘Random Access Memories’ has followed hype which has reached fever pitch, is a landmark album that brings us Daft Punk not as we have come to know them and will change the face of dance music. A sure addition to your music collection!
