Albums To Look Out For

2013 is going to finish on a high note – keep an eye out for these albums that will be released before the end of the year.

 

Arctic Monkeys – AM

One of the biggest indie bands to come out of England are returning with the follow up to 2011’s ‘Suck It And See’, ‘AM’. Their new album will be released on September 9th.

 

2 Chainz – B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time

2 Chainz has been on some of the biggest tracks of the last year, which include A$AP Rocky’s collaborative track with Kendrick Lamar and Drake – ‘F**kin’ Problems’ and Jason Derulo’s ‘Talk Dirty’. B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time will be released on September 10th.

 

Drake – Nothing Was The Same

Drizzy will be releasing his third album next month. The artwork is reminiscent of Notorious B.I.G and Lil Wayne, and boasts collaborations with Big Sean, Jay-Z and Future. After the success of ‘Started From The Bottom’, this album will be huge.

 

Justin Timberlake – The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2

After a very successful VMA’s performance which saw a brief reunion with his former boyband N*SYNC, the second instalment of ‘The 20/20 Experience’ is one of the most anticipated albums of the year. Justin Timberlake’s fourth studio album will be released on September 27th.

 

Katy Perry – Prism

Using a massive gold truck definitely grabbed everyone’s attention when it came to promoting third album, ‘Prism’. Lead single, ‘Roar’ has become Perry’s biggest single to date, despite the fact she has not shot a video for the song yet.

 

Arcade Fire – TBA

Although it has been confirmed that AF are behind the ‘Reflektor’ graffiti that has appeared in places such as Sydney, Manchester and New York, it has not been confirmed that ‘Reflektor’ will be the title of their fourth album. The follow up to 2010’s ‘The Suburbs’ will be released on October 28th, but keep your eyes peeled for a big announcement on September 9th…

 

Lady Gaga – ARTPOP

Gaga drops her third album on November 11. Lead single ‘Applause’ opened the 2013 MTV VMA’s and has stormed charts worldwide.
