As the World Cup 2014 season fast approaches, two of the games most legendary players – the great Brazilian Pelé, and current Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo have joined forces with leading luxury airline service, Emirates, introducing their latest initiative.
In the campaign, All Time Greats, uniting old with new – Emirates’ Global Ambassadors Pelé and Ronaldo face off in the luxury flagship A380 on-board lounge as debate rings out around debating who is the greatest footballer of all time?
Emirates, who have been an Official Partner of the FIFA World Cup since 2006, are aligning themselves at the forefront of football enthusiasts around the world – with only a few months leading until the kick off of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, excitement is starting to hot up with billions of users expected to be glued to their TV sets during the month long event.
The world-renowned airliner, famed for their luxury on-board facilities and lounges, Emirates aircraft are even set to showcase matches from this summer’s tournament meaning that you will never have to miss a game, even when flying – giving you an extra dose of excitement when flying – just hold up on the celebrations, passengers might be sleeping of course.
Pelé, one of only a few footballers to score more than 1,000 goals and a three-time World Cup winner in a career spanning through the 70s and 80s, and Ronaldo, the world’s most expensive footballer when he moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid and showcasing his skills this summer in Brazil with Portugal, are certainly two the games most recognised figures, where these two place among the top players to ever play the game? Well that’s certainly a place for debate.
