Actors To Pay Attention To: Dylan O’Brien

It’s pretty impressive to land your first big acting job after walking into the interview with nothing but a couple of YouTube videos on your resume, but that’s what Dylan O’Brien did when he got the part of Stiles Stilinski on MTV’s Teen Wolf. If you happen to watch the show (it’s actually really really good), you’ll already know that O’Brien, 21, is both a very gifted comedic actor, while also managing to floor you when it comes to more emotional scenes. He’s a talent to look out for, and if you don’t happen to watch Teen Wolf (but you really should because it’s very good), don’t worry, because you’re going to see a lot O’Brien on the big screen very soon…

Currently:
Dylan O’Brien plays Stiles Stilinski, best friend of werewolf Scott McCall in MTV’s television adaption of the cult film Teen Wolf. Teen Wolf returns for it’s Third Season on June 6th.

Last Seen:
As Jess Day’s almost-first-time on New Girl, and in the teen romantic comedy film The First Time opposite Britt Robertson.

The Future:
O’Brien has a role in the upcoming Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson comedy film The Internship. He has also just landed the lead role of Thomas in the feature adaption of the popular young-adult book ‘The Maze Runner’, which follows the story of a boy who wakes up in the middle of a mysterious maze, filled with hideous creatures, with no memory of who he is, or how he got there. The Maze Runner is the first book in a series, and the dystopian science-fiction film, which begins filming this month, will no doubt be popular among fans of The Hunger Games.
