That’s So Rad(Stock)!

Rock fans of the north, rejoice! After years of missing out whilst the south got the best of rock festivals with Reading & Leeds, Download and more recently Slam Dunk amongst others, Newcastle is finally hosting one of the rising rock festivals in March.

Radstock festival started this March in Liverpool and was hailed a huge success with bands like The Blackout and Don Broco give a show over three stages that fans would not be forgetting in a hurry.

2014 promises to be a bigger and even better year for the festival which inevitably will grow into an unmissable event on the rock calendar for bands and fans alike, with two venues and even more bands.

The first announcement included giants from the British rock scene, Funeral For A Friend and Kids In Glass Houses. If that isn’t enough to wet your appetite, other names on the line up include Yashin, Fearless Vampire Killers, Me Vs Hero and the ever-rising stars of female fronted The Hype Theory.

Many more bands are still to be announced and it seems that if you’re a rock fan looking to kick off 2014’s festival season with a bang, there’s no place you’d rather be than Radstock.
