Book Review: Slave To Sensation By Nalini Singh

Compelling, intense, passionate, physical, sexual and paranormal that is how I would describe Slave To Sensation.

The story brings two unlikely lovers together and their journey is a rollercoaster ride you’ll never forget. If you’ve enjoyed the Vampire Diaries or any other paranormal series along with Fifty Shades Of Grey then you’ll enjoy Nalini Singh’s series and the greatest thing is that there’s lots more of them to get your teeth into, eleven to be precise well at the moment. This compelling read had me on the edge of my seat, I found myself getting off trains and buses still reading as I had to know more.

Slave To Sensation By Nalini Singh

Slave To Sensation is an intense rollercoaster ride that will have you begging for more. I was well and truly addicted to Lucas and Sascha’s emotional story.

Sascha is a Psy. As children each and every Psy is put through a programme that silences their emotions. Sascha isn’t your average Psy, she feels emotion deeply and knows if she’s found out by her kind she’ll be subjected to heartbreaking torture. The sexual tension between Lucas and Sascha is apparent early on even though both of them fight their feelings for as long as they can, they are very different and they know that fact alone could danger them both.

I was so taken in by the content and the plot it’s so compelling and very different from anything I’ve ever read.

I couldn’t believe the first few sexual encounters were all dreams. I was sat there thinking is Nalini Singh for real all this tension for a dream…there is lots of explanation and back story but that is needed to fully understand the true depth of the novel. The novel starts very slowly letting the reader understand both Sascha and Lucas. There are lots of very un-nerving twists and turns throughout. I look forward to reading more from these very sexual and very frustrating novels.
