Review: St.Moriz Instant Self-Tanning Mousse

With our English summer being practically non-existent there is little chance of getting a natural tan. However, with so many fake tan brands on the market from high-end to high-street it can be difficult to know where to begin.

The St. Moriz Self-Tanning Mousse is an instant bronzing mousse that develops into a darker shade over 4-6 hours; once washed off you are left with a natural looking tan which will last for around 4 days without re-application. Costing only £2.99 it is an absolute bargain and a great affordable alternative to higher-end brands such as St. Tropez and Fake Bake which can cost around £30. The colour of St. Moriz is green-based meaning it counteracts any orange-ness; it doesn’t have that usual fake-tan smell either, thankfully. A definite recommendation when using this product is to wear gloves or a tanning mitt; the product will stain the hands otherwise and is very difficult to wash off due to how quickly it dries.

How to apply St. Moriz:

1. Exfoliate your skin in the shower to remove any dead skin cells, leaving skin silky smooth.

2. Use a moisturizer on particularly dry areas of skin such as elbows, knees and ankles.

3. Using a self-tanning mitt apply 2-3 pumps of product for each arm and rub gently and evenly onto the skin. Use around 4 pumps for each leg and repeat for the desired colour.

4. Allow the mousse to dry.

St. Moriz will leave you looking beautifully bronzed all year round; a guaranteed confidence booster.
