2013: The Year For Movie Sequels

2013 is a big year in the world of film for sequels, so check out my top 5 films that cannot be missed this new year…

5) The Hangover Part III
UK release date: 24th May 2013
The Hangover Part III. Do I even need to say any more?! The wolfpack are back and bigger than ever as they help everyone’s favourite Alan (Zach Galifianakis) to recover from the death of his father. Despite their being no wedding, the mayhem is set to ensue with Alan, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Doug (Justin Bartha) and Stu (Ed Helms) sure to have us laughing until we’re crying.

4) The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
UK release date: 13th December 2013
Now, you can’t deny that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey wasn’t a brilliant film. Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins wouldn’t have been my first choice, but he perfectly pulls off the quirks of the character and the scene with Gollum was undeniably witty! The second film in the trilogy continues following Bilbo and his companions on their journey to the Lonely Mountain, as they hope to overthrow the dragon Smaug. So make sure you’re sitting comfortable (seriously, it’s a long film) and prepare to be amazed as J. R. R. Tolkein’s novel is brought to life.
