AW13 Ways To Style a Parka

The autumn season is here, and soon enough we will be hitting the winter months. I have already seen a lot of ladies styling their parka coats different ways. Here are 3 looks I have come with, to see you from September right the way up to the winter months!

Buy yourself a parka if you don’t already have one, they are a great way to fight the chilly months. Not only are they waterproof, but they are also comfortable, and they are a lot more practical than all the other trendier coats that you may find. A parka will keep you feeling and look great even on the coldest days.

New look has some great coats for the chilly seasons, I have chosen this black faux fur hooded parka, this is the classic parka that I have seen most people wearing.

I have paired it with a basic shoulder frill sweater from River Island, this a jumper that you can keep on wearing and layer underneath different shirts and hi lo tops. I have picked out these simple jeans from Topshop and as for shoes these studded trainers from Dorothy Perkins give the look a more effortless casual look.

In the next look, I have added this coat from Oasis, the khaki colour in coats is quite a common colour that most ladies like to wear during the autumn and winter season.

This coat will ensure you have extra warmth during those cold wintery days! I have paired the coat with this drape blouse from Warehouse, what I love about this is that its a perfect outfit to wear on those bright but still chilly days. I have chosen these black glossy platform shoes from Mango, they go perfectly with this outfit and to finish the outfit I have added in these jeans from New look.

I have chosen this black pencil skirt with braces from ASOS, this whole chic office look is great to wear on one of those busy days, or an outfit for your first day back at uni.

As for the coat I went for this navy 3 in 1 faux fur parka jacket from River Island, it has some leather look detailing done to it, and this coat will definitely see you through the winter months.

These diamante ankle boots that I have chosen are from Boohoo, ankle boots always seem to work well with parka jackets, because you can wear your boots with your favourite jeans, dress and even skirt!

To wear with the skirt I have paired it with this burgundy crop top from Missguided, I think the colours work perfectly with the pencil skirt. Giving you that whole chic office look!
