A Jedi Knight’s Daily Routine

When you see Jedi on the big screen, they’re rushing around in the thick of the action. But what exactly do they get up to when they’ve clocked off? Have you already tested your knowledge in the Ladbrokes quiz and still need to know more like what their daily routine looks like when they’re not working? We were eager to find out so we caught up with a Jedi Knight (they wish to remain nameless) to get to the bottom of it. See for yourself…

0500 hours
The early bird catches the worm. Jedi knights are up at the crack of dawn, because they want to attack the day and not waste it. They also know the importance of a well-balanced diet. They start by eating a Ho’Din-style veggie omelette – a popular dish at Dex’s Diner in CoCo Town, Coruscant.

0630 hours
As well as having mental strength, Jedis must be physically strong. They know the importance of exercise and will often train at least once a day. This doesn’t mean you’ll find them on the cross-trainer at the gym. Far from it, in fact. Instead, it’s about constantly moving and feeling invigorated. Forget the cloud car, they travel on foot where possible.

1200 hours
Having spent the morning out and about, they’ve worked up quite an appetite again. This time it’s all about Han Solo’s favourite broth, the Pukkha broth. With some lavender treebread dipped in for good measure, it’s a really nutritious meal that sees them through most of the day. Delicious.

1400 hours
The plan for the afternoon is to hang out with some good pals. It’s important to have people in your life who elevate you, encourage and support you. They stay in the great outdoors because it’s great for your health. Despite having a day off work, they share recent experiences and offer each other advice for the future.

1800 hours
After a productive day, they’re feeling good and can’t resist a bit more exercise. And what better way to increase the heart rate than by dancing to the Catina Band at a local bar? To keep spirits and energy levels high, they snack on some Schroomchips. This is also an opportunity to let loose and enjoy the simple things in life – it’s a far cry from their usual activities.

2000 hours
Two hours of dancing, and it’s about time for bed – Jedi knights know the importance of a good night’s sleep. Before doing so, they enjoy an hour of meditation. The mind can become cluttered and infected by forces and attitudes encountered throughout the day, so it must be purged of these unnecessary elements each night.

As you can see, what a Jedi does on a daily basis is completely different to what’s portrayed in films. There are moments of calm amidst the storms. We hope you’ve enjoyed this behind-the-scenes snippet into the life of a Jedi knight. Maybe it will inspire you to lead an equally inspiring life with such a healthy attitude?
